Background + experience

Sam Chaplin is a psychotherapist practicing in Western Massachusetts. In 2015, Sam earned a Masters in Social Work from the Smith College School for Social Work. Following graduation, she began working in community mental health as an In-Home Therapy Clinician providing intensive therapeutic services to Massachusetts children and families living in Hampshire County. Sam received training as a post-graduate fellow with the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis.

From 2018-2021, Sam was an outpatient therapist at the Children’s Clinic in Northampton, specializing in the treatment of children and adolescents who have experienced trauma.

In 2020, she created a private practice providing virtual therapy to adults throughout the state of Massachusetts.

Sam is an ADHD-Certified Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP), and in 2022 has expanded her practice to offer individual and group coaching for neurodivergent folks.
